T-Shirt Gods Among Men

We’re loving Threadless t-shirts. For those of you that aren’t hip to them, they make designers out of regular Joes like you and I — but not in the build your own shirt sort of way. At threadless, you can submit a design you have for a really cool shirt. People see the design, rate it and give you feedback. In the end if your shirt gets picked, Threadless gives you $12,500. There’s an amazing variety of designs including ET in a phone booth, and our favorite smartass saying, “I listen to bands that don’t even exist yet.” The site is actually cool enough to have a number of fan sites that regularly blog about them and post shirt designs. It’s kind of a big deal. Plus, Threadless makes their own t-shirts right here in the United States so you can feel good knowing that the person who made your shirt mad more that a nickel per day.
