    The Vibe:
No shirt? No shoes? At Bin 8945, that’s definitely a problem. Keep your ripped jeans and tanktops at home, as this chic (yet not at all pretentious) treasure is a must-enjoy for the diner with discriminating tastes. A relatively more mature crowd (primarily gay men, mid-30’s to 50’s…but not exclusively) and an intimately soft-lit setting, make this pro-wine dinner-only restaurant perfect for a first date, anniversary or business dinner.

    The Food:
Modernized European Bistro dining has never been so hip; with a menu designed completely around the pairing of fine wines (over 70 varieties in stock at all times), evenings at the reservations-only hotspot are 100% customized for each diner’s discerning palate. Specialty dishes span the globe, incorporating the best spices and unique fare from as far as Madagascar and Indonesia.

    The Bottom Line:
Quite possibly the most intimate yet dynamic dining experience on the West Hollywood strip. Reservations must be made in advance; give yourself about a week, but the pre-planning is well worth the tasty payoff. And be sure that your date is a wine lover; there’s simply no way to enjoy a meal here without indulging in Bin’s extensive wine pairings.

    Rating: 4.5/5 stars

    Gotta Try:

The owner’s mini-pairing of four 2 ounce glasses of wine, hand selected to go with each of the chef’s dishes (for only $25.00).
