    Fiesta Cantina

8865 Santa Monica Blvd, West Hollywood
    310.652.8865

Hands down, this WeHo Strip bar boasts the best happy hour in town; with drinks, already cheap by L.A. standards, going for a literal 2-for-1 from 4-8pm and 10pm-midnight daily. You simply can’t go wrong with double-fisted Fiesta margaritas. But don’t expect a black tie affair here; strewn chili pepper lights, spray-painted beach murals and bartenders clad only in board-short have this place looking like a tacky TGIFriday’s gone seaside (in the best way, of course). A roof-deck provides a great view of the city. Parties up here feel like a college kegger gone oh-so right. And for those with a collegiate fetish, here you will find your best shot to pick up the legendary (closeted) college frat boy…”Just ‘cuz the beer is totally cheap, dude!”

    PLAIN AND SIMPLE:

No Shirt, No Shoes, No Prob: A kitschy beach blanket ambience allows for those in shirts and sandals to elbow-rub with suits on a post-biz happy hour…And it’s all good, dude.

Hey, Mr. DJ: This joint’s jukebox is all-gay, all the time. From Britney, Madonna, Donna, Cher, Whitney, Mariah and even some Michael Bolton (shudder!), every last note is music to every queer’s ear.

I’m Sorry…This Seat’s Taken: The front patio is the place to be, as the back of the bar is often empty and harshly lit. Seating is extremely limited though, so big parties and latecomers really have to elbow their way in for stool rights.

    AVERAGE DRINK PRICE:

    $5

    4/5 stars

    WHAT’S SPINNING?:

The best of gay dance pop, 1980’s – today.
